SULTAN STRESSES NEED FOR MODERN EQUIPMENT FOR IMMIGRATION SERVICES From Aminu Ibrahim Maru  The Sultan of Sokoto ,Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar has stressed the need for the Nigeria Immigration  Services  (NIS) to have modern Equipments  for efficient migration and border mandatory in the country.  He made the plea while interacting with the participants of the 14th staff course of Nigeria Immigration  Command and staff Collage, Sokoto, who paid him a courtesy visit at his Palace in Sokoto recently.  We need to really have equipments to control our  Borders efficiently. SOKOTO GOVT SPENDS N1BN ON DIGITAL EQUIPMENT FOR RIMA RADIO, TV — MD From Bashir Rabe Mani, Sokoto  The Managing Director, Sokoto State Media Corporation, Alhaji Labaran Lumo Dundaye, has disclosed that the Sokoto State Government has expended over N1 billion on the provision of ultramodern digital facilities for state-owned broadcast stations. Dundaye spoke on Saturday in Sokoto at the monthly Congress of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sokoto State Council, held at the NUJ Press Centre, Zuru Road. He said the digital facilities provided for RIMA Radio, RIMA FM and RIMA Television included two transmitters, editing suites, cameras and other related modern equipment.
