Advises Prospective Pilgrims to Meet Deadline

Sokoto, Nigeria - Prospective pilgrims from Sokoto State are advised to adhere strictly to the December 25, 2025, deadline for payment of 2026 Hajj fares. 

This call was made by the Chairman of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA), Alhaji Aliyu Musa, represented by the Director of Administration, Alhaji Ladan Ibrahim, during a meeting with Assistant Hajj Registration Officers from the 23 Local Government Areas of Sokoto State.

Alhaji Ladan Ibrahim emphasized the importance of complying with the new Hajj Registration policy to ensure smooth processing and successful participation of Sokoto State pilgrims in the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The Director of Operations, Alhaji Abubakar Chika, warned the Assistant Hajj Registration Officers against registering intending pilgrims by proxy, stressing the need for personal registration to maintain the integrity of the Hajj registration process.

The Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency urges all prospective pilgrims to take note of the deadline and make necessary arrangements for timely payment of their Hajj fares.
