In a vibrant display of progress and transformation, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sokoto State Council, today visited Gwadabawa Local Government Area as part of its ongoing projects tour. 
The atmosphere in the town was filled with a sense of optimism, as visible signs of development greeted the delegation at every turn.

Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto’s administration has clearly prioritized Gwadabawa, with noticeable improvements across education, healthcare delivery, and rural road networks. 

The renovation of Jumu’at mosques and five-daily-prayer mosques has brought renewed spiritual energy to the communities, reflecting the state’s commitment to both physical and social development.
This,was further confirmed by the District Head of Gwadabawa local government lawal Muhammad Zayyana, during the NUJ tour, where he praised Governor Ahmed Aliyu sokoto for development strides in the area.

At the forefront of local leadership, Chairman Ibrahim Aliyu Sakamaru has been instrumental in complementing the state’s initiatives. 

His council has been making deliberate efforts to uplift the lives of residents, Implemen tingcommunity-focused projects that ensure development reaches the grassroots. 
From upgraded classrooms to smoother roads connecting remote villages, the impact of coordinated governance is evident.

The NUJ Sokoto State Council has successfully rounded up the first phase of its projects tour.

 Observations from the field, coupled with actionable recommendations, will be compiled into a comprehensive report to be presented to Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, PhD. 

The report aims to guide further interventions, ensuring that the people of sokoto State continue to enjoy tangible benefits from government policies.
With the combination of state support, proactive local leadership, and citizen engagement, Gwadabawa Local Government is steadily charting a course toward sustainable growth, serving as a model for rural development in Sokoto State.
