HON. HAMISU KUCHI WANTS FAKKU BRIDGE CONSTRUCTED

Member Representing Kebbe Constituency in the Sokoto State House of Assembly Hon Samaila Hamisu Kuchi has moved a motion to construct Fakku bridge in Kebbe local goverment.

In a motion moved Hon Hamisu Kuchi said the bridge links Illela -Sha Alwashi -Rarah and Garin Maidabo villages.

 The Lawmaker said the communities there are predominantly farmers.

 He said the bridge completely collapsed adding that if constructed It will boost economic activities.

He said it was constructed during colonial era over 100 years ago and people are suffering as they could pass through it even on bare foot.

The Legislator also called on the state government through the House to construct road from Fakku to Garin Maidabo. 

The motion was seconded by Member Representing Gwadabawa South, Hon. Faruku Sidi while contribution came from Member representing Sokoto South 1 Hon Mustapha Abdullahi Dust .

The Deputy Speaker Hon Kabiru Ibrahim Kware however called on the state government to construct the bridge.
