NUJ Embarks On Media Assessment Tour, Visits Sokoto South, Sokoto North LGs

Various development projects have been executed by Sokoto state government across nooks and crannies of Sokoto South and Sokoto North Lgs. 
Also, the two councils executed quite alot of the projects at local government levels.
 Speaking during Media assesment tour in the Lgs, the Chairmen of the Councils, Alhaji Muh'd Yau Danda and Alhaji Jamilu Ummaru Gostu expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmad Aliyu for executing viable projects in the lgs. Represented by his Vice Chairman, Alhaji Umar Faruk Garba Soccer,Ya'u Danda said the Governor as an indigine of Sokoto South has not only transformed the area but the entire state and we are very proud of him as a true son of the soil. 
He said in our part, we executed over 100 viable projects cut across the Lg since when we come to power to date. He said we have made significant impact within a year. 

Some of the projects visited by members of the press in Sokoto South Lg are Sahara roads networking, Sultan Maccido Jumuat Mosque Emir Yahaya road, restructuring of Malam Nata'ala Islamiyya school and motorised bore hole at Sabon titi area. 

Others include eastern bye pass road, concreate path way (malale) and street solar systems and host of others.
 In Sokoto North Local government, the Speaker of the Council, Alhaji Bashir Altine who took round journalists across the area, commended the governor for the job well done. 

Projects inspected include Magajin Gari Alu road Fakon Idi area, various concrete path ways (malale) at Waziri 'c' Ward, Asarakkawa Magajin Gari 'a' and Gidan Igwai Kato Bakwai area. 

The NUJ state council members also inspected historic Kofar Taramniya Gate and round about and Ramen Kura roads networking & several others all in Sokoto North local government area of the state.
