SOZEA Distributes Food Items, Transport Support To Vulnerable Households
The Chairman, Sokoto State Zakat and Endowment Agency (SOZEA), Sadaukin Sokoto, Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki (Sadaukin Sakkwato), has led the disbursement of food items and transport support to beneficiaries in Dange District. 

The support included 10kg bags of rice and transport stipends aimed at assisting vulnerable households.

This gesture reflects the Sokoto State Government’s commitment to supporting the less privileged and strengthening social welfare interventions across communities. 

The Chairman expressed deep appreciation to the State Government for its continuous monthly support to SOZEA, which enables the Agency to effectively deliver on its mandate.

In continuation of its outreach, today the Sadaukin Sokoto also supervised the distribution of additional food items and monetary support donated by Alhaji Murtala Abdulkadir Dan Iyan Jarma to several districts across Sokoto State.

The districts covered under this support include: Tureta,Tsamiya,Yan Gwalle
During the visit, the Chairman also paid an inspection visit to the SOZEA Date Farm in Tsamiya, where he commended the progress of the project and reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to sustaining productive endowment initiatives.

The Chairman was accompanied by several Directors of the Agency, including Hajiya Huraira Isah Illo, Abubakar Sadiq Isah, Dr. Muhammad Lawal, Hajiya Rabi Mai Turare, the Deputy Director Distribution Malam Aliyu Ibrahim Kyautawa, as well as Heads of Units from the Agency.
