Kaura Namoda PDP Chairman Defects To APC

The Zamfara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has received the current Kaura Namoda local government PDP chairman, Hon. Sadiq Abubakar who defected into the Party alongside his supporters at Kaura Namoda local government.

The PDP chairman was received by the former APC chairman, Hon. Lawal M. Liman along with the Kaura Namoda local government APC Chairman, Alh. Sule Gabake at the local government APC secreteriate in Kaura.

The PDP chairman announced that his exit from his  former party and joining the APC because the PDP according to him is now a dead party in Zamfara state saying that the Party is battling with a protracted illiness that has infected all the party's nerves right from the national level to state upto the local government and ward levels which has also killed the entire immune system.

Hon. Sadiq explained that he has been in PDP since 1998 and he has never moved out of the party but today, despite being the ruling party in the state, members of the party are playing opposition roles in all aspects ranging from welfare, recognision and economic outing in the state because of lack of good leadership where Governor Dauda Lawal  abandoned the party and the members a "situation which necessitated me to dump the party along with my supporters."

He added that PDP is being run by a cabal who dictate what to do and what not to do no matter the importance of the matter or advise or  position of the person or his  political relevance  or the contribution one  made for the emargence of governor Dauda lawal he will not be listened to except what the Zangon Kataf and Mariga guys say.

Because they are more recognised in Zamfara than we that went to the nooks and crannies to canvass for support and promised electorate that all their demands will be fulfilled especially the security aspect which has continued to detrorate under Dauda watch, are the ones being completely neglected. 

Ciroma further said that PDP is dead in Kaura Namoda local government and the entire northern zone of the state and come 2027 APC will form the government insha Allah, because PDP is not a rewarding party rather a party of deceit and propaganda of lies and fabrication  unlike APC in Zamfara that rewards its members for their support and contriburions at all levels.

He added that APC should get ready to receive many PDP defectors in the state as majority of them will soon join APC.

Receiving the former PDP chairman, Hon. Lawal M. Liman assured him and his supporters of equal treatment where justice is paramount.

He assured him that APC in Zamfara is united under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator AbdulAziz Yari Abubakar and His Excellency, Bello Mohammad Matawalle, the Hon. Minister of State for Defence who are working day and night to ensure the success and the welfare of the party and members.

Liman added that the party will reclaim the state come 2027 Insha Allah.
