Renovate Central, Izala Jumu'at Mosques At Gidan Madi- Hon. Aliyu Lumu

Member Representing Tangaza Constituency in the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Hon. Aliyu Lumu Gidan Madi has called for a total renovation of Central and Izala Jumu'at Mosques at Gidan Madi town In a motion presented before the floor of the house.

He said the mosques are in deplorable condition and their roofings, walls and doors cracked and damaged He said worshippers pray in difficulties, adding, the mosques are in delapidated condition for quite along time.

The Lawmaker said 'I decided to move the motion due to Governor Ahmad Aliyu's effort in re~costructing and re-modelling of Jumu'at Mosques and other worshipping places through his 9-point agenda.

He said the Governor gives great emphasis on religion, 'that is why I move the motion calling on the state government through the State House of Assembly to renovate the said mosques' 

The motion was seconded by Member Representing Gwadabawa South Contributions came from Members Representing Yabo, Gada East and Sokoto South 1 Constituencies. 

The Deputy Speaker, Hon. Kabiru Ibrahim who presided over the sitting called on the state government to renovate the mosques.
