'RENOVATE GIGANE CENTRAL JUMU'AT MOSQUE'

Member Representing Gwadabawa South, Hon Faruk Sidi has called for the renovation and remodelling of Gigane Central Mosque in his constituency. 

In a motion he presented before the floor of the Sokoto state House of Assembly, said it is of great concern, adding that, Government should consider its renovation as soon as possible for the benefit of Muslims Ummah. 

The Legislator said the mosque had undergone several face lifts, pointing out  that it becomes imperative to renovate it once again.

 Contributing, the Majority Leader, Hon. Bello idrisnoted that the state governmen under Governor Ahmad Aliyu's administration gives great emphasis on mosques rehabilitation.

 Member Representing Yabo Constituency, Hon. Abubakar Shehu Shamaki also contributed while Member Representing Sokoto North 1, Hon. Buhari Haliru Yarima seconded the motion.

 The Speaker, Hon. Tukur Bala Bodinga however called on the state government to renovate the mosque.
