Successful 2026 Hajj Operations
Assistants Hajj Registration Officers in Sokoto State have been charged to redouble their efforts toward ensuring a successful 2026 Hajj operation.

The charge was given today by the Permanent Secretary of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar JJ, during a courtesy visit by the Executive Members of the Association of Assistants Hajj Registration Officers.
The Permanent Secretary described members of the Association as the backbone of a successful Hajj exercise, noting that their commitment and dedication at the grassroots level play a critical role in the overall success of Hajj operations.

Alhaji Ibrahim Umar JJ assured the Association of the Agency’s full support at all times in the discharge of their duties, stressing the importance of teamwork and professionalism in achieving improved Hajj service delivery.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Zayyanu Alkali, congratulated the Permanent Secretary on his re-assignment to the Agency as Permanent Secretary.

He expressed confidence that, as a seasoned Hajj administrator with vast experience, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar JJ would make positive contributions toward enhancing Hajj operations in Sokoto State.
