Attahiru Bafarawa Foundation Distributes Foodstuffs, Bedding Materials Others To Islamiyya Schools In Sokoto.

Giving back initiative under the Attahiru Bafarawa Foundation has continued its humanitarian outreach with the distribution of food items, bedding materials and vocational tools to several Islamiyya schools across Sokoto State, as part of its commitment to supporting Islamic education and skills development.

In Tambuwal area, the exercise covered Nurul Huda Marja’ul Sunnah Nasarawa, and Marafa Arzika Madarasatul Ta’alimul Qur’an wal-Arbiyya.
Launching the distribution, the Chairman of the Almajiri Support Programme Committee, Sheikh Khalifa, Malam Yahaya Muhammad Boyi, ( Sarkin Malammai) stressed that the gesture has nothing to do with politics. 

He warned beneficiaries against selling or diverting the items, noting that they are strictly meant to support education, skills acquisition and welfare.
Speaking during the event, the Representative of  Tambuwal District Head, Hakimin kalgawa,  Malam Abubakar Aliyu Hakimin, commended the foundation for the gesture and prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the founder, Dr. Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, the Foundation’s chairman, Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki  Sadaukin Sakkwato  and the Chairman of the Almajiri Sub- Support Programme Committee, Malam Yahaya Muhammad Boyi, along with other committee members.

Beneficiaries, in their remarks, assured that the items would be properly utilised and that empowerment and skills-acquisition programmes would commence immediately.

The outreach was also extended to Bodinga Local Government Area, where similar items were distributed to Bashir Liman Sifawa Islamiyya School in Sifawa town. 

Receiving the items, beneficiaries expressed gratitude and pledged that all materials would be kept within the Islamiyya school and used strictly for their intended educational and empowerment purposes.

Items distributed included bags of maize and rice, beds and bedsheets, as well as carpentry tools and shoe-making equipment to enhance learning and empowerment activities.
