SUBEB Chairman Pays Condolence Visits To Family Of Late Hajiya LAMI.
The Executive Chairman of the Sokoto State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Umar Nagwari Tambuwal, along with a delegation of Board staff, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Hajiya Lami Mukhtar, Director of Senior Secondary Schools, at her residence in Maberar Jariri, within Sokoto metropolis.
During the visit, Executive Chairman, Alhaji Umar Nagwari Tambuwal, described the death of Hajiya Lami as a great loss to the people of Sokoto State, considering her immense contributions to the development of the education sector in the state.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her all her shortcomings, accept her good deeds, and grant her Aljannatul Firdausi as her final abode.
Alhaji Umar Nagwari Tambuwal also stated that they were shocked and saddened when they received the news of Hajiya Lami’s passing, as he expressed his condolences to her family and encouraged them to remain steadfast in the face of this great loss.
He further presented a financial assistance of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (₦200,000) to the family of the deceased.
Speaking on behalf of the family, her husband expressed gratitude for the care and compassion shown by the Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Alhaji Umar Nagwari Tambuwal, and prayed that Almighty Allah would reward him with goodness and grant him abundant blessings for his kindness.
Members of the entourage who accompanied the Executive Chairman included members of the Board, Director Administration, Alhaji Tukur Abdullahi, Special Adviser to the Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Ahmad Umar Gidadawa, as well as other directors, their deputies, and staff of the Board.
The late Hajiya Lami Mukhtar passed away on Monday after a brief illness. She was 50 years old and is survived by her husband and four children.
We pray to Almighty Allah to have mercy on her, forgive her shortcomings, and grant her Aljannatul Firdausi as her final resting place.
