President Tinubu To Visit Kebbi To Commission Projects, Attend Argungu Festival – Gov. Idris

Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), has officially announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will visit Kebbi State in the coming days to commission key projects executed by the present administration and to attend the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival.

The Governor made this known at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Sunday, while receiving Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Mai Ashana, Managing Director of Firdaus Airline, alongside hundreds of his supporters who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The event attracted party stakeholders from Jega Local Government Area as well as top government officials.

Governor Idris expressed delight over what he described as President Tinubu’s continued love and commitment to Kebbi State and its people. 

He noted that the President’s visit would further strengthen development efforts and national recognition of the state.

According to the Governor, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to arrive in Kebbi State next week to commission several completed projects and to grace the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival.

“I want to assure the people of Kebbi State that Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be in the state next week to commission projects and attend the Argungu International Fishing Festival. 
This is a big plus for Kebbi State,” the Governor said.

He urged residents to troop out in large numbers to the state capital to accord the President a warm and rousing welcome.
