GOV IDRIS MOURNS DEATH OF HON. SALIHU AHMAD KC, UBAN DAWAKIN KABI

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has expressed deep shock and profound sorrow over the death of the former Chairman of Argungu Local Government Area, Hon. Salihu Ahmad KC (Uban Dawakin Kabi).

The late Hon. Salihu Ahmad KC (Uban Dawakin Kabi), who also served as Special Adviser to the Governor, passed away on Sunday night at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, following a protracted illness.

In a condolence message, Governor Idris said he was deeply pained by the news of the passing of the former Chairman of Argungu Local Government Area, describing it as a great personal and collective loss to the people of Kebbi State.

The Governor described the late Salihu Ahmad KC, Uban Dawakin Kabi, as a close political associate,loyal supporter, and compassionate leader who dedicated his life to the service of humanity and the development of his community.

Governor Idris also extolled the deceased’s invaluable contributions to the growth and progress of Argungu Local Government Area, as well as his remarkable role in the political development of the area and the state at large.

According to the Governor, the death of Hon. Salihu Ahmad KC has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill, considering his experience, humility, and unwavering commitment to the cause of the people.

Governor Idris prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family, associates, and the entire people of Argungu the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

The remains of the deceased have since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.
