Governor Dr. Nasir Idris, Chairs Medical Committee For APC 2026 National Convention

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, who is serving as Chairman of the Medical Committee for the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2026 National Convention, on Thursday paid a working visit to the Federal Ministry of Health in continuation of preparations for the party’s National Convention scheduled for tomorrow.

The visit formed part of the Governor’s strategic engagements aimed at ensuring adequate medical preparedness and effective health coverage for delegates, party officials and other participants expected at the convention.

During the visit, Governor Nasir Idris held consultations with relevant officials of the ministry and reviewed the medical and emergency response arrangements put in place to guarantee the health, safety and wellbeing of all attendees throughout the exercise.

The Governor emphasized the need for a comprehensive and efficient healthcare support system during the convention, stressing that proper medical coordination remains vital to the success of any major national gathering.

Governor Idris’ proactive engagement further reflects his sense of responsibility, dedication and commitment to the successful, peaceful and hitch-free conduct of the APC 2026 National Convention.
