Sallah Homage: Aliyu Hosts Legislature, Judiciary, Reaffirms Inter-Arm Cooperation

The Sokoto State Governor, Ahmad Aliyu, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening collaboration among the three arms of government.
Aliyu stated this while receiving members of the State Legislature and Judiciary during the traditional Sallah homage at the Presidential Lodge in Sokoto.
The governor thanked the lawmakers and judicial officers for the visit and pledged to further deepen the existing relationship between the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary in the interest of good governance and development.
He commended both arms for their support and cooperation, noting that their contributions had enabled his administration to function effectively.
He expressed optimism that the synergy would be sustained.
In separate remarks, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Tukur Bala Bodinga, and the State Chief Judge, Justice Sa’idu Muhammad Sifawa, congratulated the governor on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and Sallah festivities.
They expressed satisfaction with the projects executed by the administration and assured the governor of their continued support toward transforming the state.
Other dignitaries received during the Sallah homage included the Minister of State for Works, Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo; the State Head of Civil Service, Abdulkadir Ahmad; and the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Haruna S.G. Adiya.
Also present were leaders of the State Chamber of Commerce, resident communities, as well as local government chairmen led by the state ALGON Chairman, Alhaji Abba Shehu Tambuwal.
