Sokoto Ministry Of Social Welfare Flags off The Distribution Of Financial Support To Praise Singers, Others

Sokoto state government through the ministry of Social Welfare and humanitarian affairs has distributed  financial support to traditional and praise singers and musicians in the state.

Flagging off the distribution of the support in her office, Commissioner of the Ministry hajiya Asabe Balarabe said the kind gesture is an annual event carried out by the present administration of Dr Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto.

Hajiya Asabe Balarabe said the kind gesture was to enable the beneficiaries to observe Eidel-fitr happily.

The Commissioner revealed that even during the Eidel-kabir similar gesture are being given to them.

She therefore charged the leadership of the Associatios to ensure Justice and fairness in the disbursement of the support for the benefit of thier members.

In a vote of thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries, Alhaji Ummaru Dan Ama and Alhaji Abdullahi stim thanked the state government for it's concerned shown to them as at all times.

They also commended the Commissioner for it's commitment towards ensuring Justice and fairness in the distribution of the financial support.

The event was witnessed by the permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Salihu Muhamad Galadanchi and other directors
