SOSG Constitutes Committee To Screen Sokoto Marshall Security Outfit

The sokoto state government has constituted a committee to oversee the screening and selection of qualified candidates for recruitment into the sokoto state marshall security outfit across all local government areas of the state.

 The committee under the leadership of the permanent secretary,  security affairs, Alh. Sawudi Almustapha, and supported by members drawn from various security agencies visited kebbe local government to conduct the screening exercise for prospective candidates from the area.

During the visit, the executive chairman of kebbe local government, Hon. Musa Garba Kuchi, formally received the committee in his office.
 The exercise was conducted under his supervision, alongside the secretary of the local government, Alh. Shamsudeen Umar Maiakwai ; the APC party chairman of kebbe LGA, Alh. Abdu Kano; as well as directors, councillors, and other key officials of the local government.

The screening exercise, which is aimed at strengthening security and enhancing safety within the local government, was carried out successfully in a well-organized and transparent manner.

In their remarks, members of the committee commended the executive chairman for providing an enabling environment and a high level of coordination that ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the exercise. 

They acknowledged his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace, security, and development at the grassroots level.

This exercise marks a significant step toward reinforcing security structures and fostering a safer and more secure kebbe local government.
