The Ikara Stakeholders’ Elders Forum and the people of Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna State have reiterated its unwavering support and loyalty to the state governor, Uba Sani
The group made this known on Monday during a press conference held in Kaduna, where its spokesman, Professor Dauda Ishaya, reaffirmed the forum’s confidence in the leadership and decisions of the state governor
According to Prof. Ishaya, the stakeholders remain firmly aligned with the governor and the ruling party, particularly as the state prepares for forthcoming elections
He emphasized that the forum fully supports all decisions taken by both the government and the party in the current primary elections
He dismissed reports suggesting discontent over the outcome of recent party primaries, describing such claims as unverified and misleading also noted that the elders stand solidly behind any decision reached by the party leadership and the governor, stressing that circulating reports to the contrary were mere insinuations
Prof. Ishaya further stated that the stakeholders remain committed to the policies and programmes of the Kaduna State Government, especially those aimed at advancing development in Ikara Local Government Area
He further highlighted infrastructural progress, particularly the renovation of the General Hospital in Ikara, which he said had been transformed from a deteriorated facility into a modern healthcare centre capable of delivering more efficient and effective services
He added that the people of Ikara are determined to continue supporting initiatives that promote welfare, stability, and sustainable development within the area
“We want to clearly state that we are in full support of every government decision, especially those affecting Ikara Local Government Area and the affairs of our great party,” he said
He further declared, “We are loyal to the Kaduna State Government, and that is why we have come here—to reaffirm our support.”
