Sokoto Hajj Delegation Arrives Pilgrims’ Tents in Minna Ahead of 2026 Hajj

The Sokoto State Government Hajj Delegation has arrived at the state pilgrims’ tents in Minna ahead of the commencement of the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The delegation, led by Amirul Hajj and Honourable Minister of Labour and Productivity, Alhaji Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, was accompanied by the Chairman of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Aliyu Musa, and his Permanent secretary of the agency Alhaji Ibrahim Umar, and members of the agency’s management team.

On arrival, the delegation was received by officials and committee members responsible for welfare and accommodation arrangements for Sokoto pilgrims at the site. 

The visit is part of efforts to ensure that all logistics and welfare provisions are in place for a smooth and comfortable stay for the pilgrims during the exercise.
Sokoto pilgrims began moving to Minna earlier yesterday night as part of the first phase of the state’s 2026 Hajj operations.
