TSO Endorses President Tinubu, Governor Idris for Second Term



The Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO) on Wednesday formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The endorsement was made during a well-attended gathering held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Birnin Kebbi, where political leaders, party officials, members of the TSO, and supporters reaffirmed their commitment to the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Idris.
Speaking at the event, the National President of the Tinubu Support Organisation, Aminu Suleiman, recalled the organisation’s active role in mobilising support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2023 elections and expressed satisfaction with the administration’s achievements across the country.

He stated that the group remained committed to supporting the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and described Governor Nasir Idris as a leader who has demonstrated remarkable commitment to human development, empowerment, and infrastructure development.
Suleiman assured that the organisation would continue to mobilise support for President Tinubu and Governor Idris, expressing confidence that both leaders would secure victory in the 2027 elections.

In his remarks, the Kebbi State Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Organisation, Abubakar Habib Adam, reaffirmed the group’s endorsement of President Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris for a second term. He noted that the organisation would continue to support initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians and advancing national development.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, Alhaji Abubakar Kana Zuru, said the state had consistently demonstrated unwavering support for President Tinubu and the APC-led administration.

He noted that Kebbi State had already endorsed the President’s second-term bid and pledged that its people would continue to stand firmly behind him in recognition of the numerous developmental projects being executed in the state.

Governor Nasir Idris, while addressing the gathering, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to witness what he described as another significant endorsement of President Tinubu by the people of Kebbi State.

The Governor commended the efforts of the organisers and noted that Kebbi State was the first state in the country to publicly endorse President Tinubu for a second term, recalling the massive endorsement rally earlier held at the Haliru Abdu Stadium in Birnin Kebbi.

Governor Idris attributed the overwhelming support for the President to the numerous Federal Government projects currently being executed across Kebbi State.

He cited the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway, from which Kebbi State stands to benefit substantially, as well as several other major road projects connecting various parts of the state and neighbouring areas.

The Governor further highlighted ongoing infrastructure development, the establishment of federal institutions and agencies in the state, and the creation of employment opportunities for thousands of Kebbi citizens through Federal Government interventions.

Governor Idris maintained that the support being given to President Tinubu was based on tangible achievements and visible developmental projects that have positively impacted the lives of the people.

“Our support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is total and unwavering because the people of Kebbi State are witnessing the dividends of democracy through the numerous projects and programmes being implemented by his administration,” Governor Idris stated.

He assured members of the Tinubu Support Organisation of the continued support and cooperation of the Kebbi State Government in efforts aimed at sustaining the developmental strides of the Tinubu administration.

The event concluded with another round of a unanimous endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris for a second term in office, amid prayers for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in Kebbi State and Nigeria at large.
