In a move aimed at strengthening the grassroots structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and consolidating support for the administration of Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, the APC Senatorial Candidate for Sokoto East, Alhaji Umar Ajiya, has donated brand-new vehicles to APC chairmen across the eight local government areas of Sokoto East Senatorial District.
The presentation took place at the residence of the APC leader in Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, in Gawon Nama, Sokoto.

Speaking at the event, the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Haruna Sarkin Gobir Adiya, described the donation as a significant boost to grassroots mobilization and party administration. 
He commended Alhaji Umar Ajiya for the gesture and praised both Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto and Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for their leadership and commitment to the growth of the party and development of the state.
According to him, the vehicles will enhance party operations at the grassroots and strengthen mobilization efforts in support of the APC administration and ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Alhaji Umar Ajiya for the support and pledged to utilize the vehicles effectively in promoting party activities, supporting the policies and programmes of Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, and ensuring electoral success for the APC in future elections.

In his remarks, the APC Deputy Chairman in Sokoto State, Alhaji Yahaya Buhari Siriddawa, commended Alhaji Umar Ajiya for what he described as a remarkable demonstration of commitment to the growth and progress of the party at the grassroots. 

He noted that the donation of the vehicles would further strengthen the operational capacity of party officials and enhance mobilization efforts across Sokoto East Senatorial District. 

Alhaji Yahaya Siriddawa assured of the continued support and loyalty of party members to the administration of Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, the leadership of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, and the candidature of Alhaji Umar Ajiya, expressing confidence that the APC would record greater successes in future political engagements.
 Also speaking, the APC Zonal Vice Chairman for Sokoto East, Alhaji Muhammadu Musa Sarkin Alaru, described the donation as timely and assured of sustained grassroots mobilization in support of Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, and the APC candidate, Alhaji Umar Ajiya.
